Dr. Camille Wardrop Alleyne is the Founder and CEO of Arusha Space, LLC, a geospatial (satellite) mapping and analytics and space solutions consulting company. She is an accomplished and results-driven executive and former senior leader at NASA who dedicated her 29-year career at leading change and advancing the areas of aerospace and space technology development. Prior to her retirement, she served as the Deputy Program Manager for the Commercial LEO Development Program. She also served as the founding Deputy Manager for the Commercial Lunar Payload Services and Assistant Deputy Associate Administrator for Programs in the Science Mission Directorate.  

Dr. Alleyne is a visionary leader in the areas of space technology application in international development and change maker in revolutionizing global science and space education for women and girls – work done through the Brightest Stars Foundation, an 501(c)3 non-profit organization she founded in 2007. Dr. Alleyne’s collective work has spanned many regions of the world including North America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and Africa. Through her foundation, she has impacted the lives of thousands of young people around the world.  

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Howard University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida A&M University, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston.
