In 2002, at the age of 18, Michele Poggipolini developed the motorcycle brand NCR, acquired by the family company, becoming CEO in 2004. 

In 2009 he became Director of Sales and Business Development of Poggipolini Srl, dealing mainly with the internationalization of the company and the growth in the Aerospace, Automotive and Motorsport sectors. Today he is CEO of Poggipolini S.p.A. 

Founder and CEO of Sens-in Bolt, an innovative startup founded in 2019 that deals with making smart fasteners, the first Italian venture building project. 

Since 2019 to 2023 President of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria Emilia. Member of the General Council of Confindustria and Member of the aerospace technical group. 

Member of the Board of BI-REX (Big Data Innovation and Research Excellence), the Competence Centre of Bologna. 

Since May 2022 he has been Delegate for the Automotive supply chain in Confindustria Emila. 

In July 2023 he was appointed President of Fondazione Aldini Valeriani, the most important Confindustria industrial management school.
