Brendan O’Donoghue is the Vice President of the Global Public Sector for ICON, the construction technologies company using 3D printing robotics, software and materials to advance humanity. In his role, Brendan oversees ICON’s go-to-market strategy and sales within the public sector.

Prior to joining ICON, Brendan was an executive at Zipline, an autonomous drone company. At different times, he led their growth teams for the U.S government, Asia-Pacific, and West Africa. Brendan is also a technology entrepreneur. He has co-founded companies that have built software used by more than 100 government agencies and Fortune 100 companies around the world.

Previously, Brendan was a Director at the Office of the U.S. Secretary of Defense, where he led teams that facilitated investments in conflict zones, including working closely with the World Bank, USAID, and the Asian Development Bank. Brendan began his career as an options trader at Bear Stearns.

Brendan has an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, where he studied international economics and finance, and a A.B. in economics from Hamilton College. He lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and daughter.
