Dr. Matt Hejduk has spent more than thirty years in the design, development, and assessment of space sensing and command and control systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, masters degrees from Southern Methodist University and the University of Dallas, and a Ph.D. from the University of Dallas. He presently serves as chief engineer for the Satellite Conjunction Analysis and Risk Assessment (CARA) project for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. His research interests include the satellite conjunction assessment problem, satellite characterization and modeling from sensor signature data, estimation theory, and sensor and network simulation.
